ATP Tour Finals  is a tennis tournament was formed in 1972. It was originally known as The Masters Grand Prix tournament, and was made up of representatives of the ITF (International Tennis Federation). In 1990, the association has organized the principal worldwide tennis tour for men, the ATP Tour Finals.

The ITF (International Tennis Federation) continued to run the Grand Slam tournaments, known as the Grand Slam Cup, which was contested by the 16 players. The ATP and ITF agreed to discontinue the two separate events and create a new jointly owned event called the Tennis Masters Cup in December 1999.

In 2009 the Tennis Masters Cup has been renamed the ATP Tour Finals and it will be staged at The O2 in London from 2009 to 2012. ATP Tour Finals played at the end of each year, involving the top eight players in the men's tennis world rankings.The ATP Tour Finals 2010 will be held in London, United Kingdom between 21 to 28 November 2010.
