The French Open is very famous tennis tournament played in Paris, France.  This tournament is played in the summer for two weeks from the end of May to the first few days of June. In March 2007, it was announced that the tournaments will provide equal prize money for both men and women in all rounds.

In 2009, the winners were Roger Federer for men’s single and Svetlana Kuznetsova for women’s single. In French Open 2010, Rafael and Francesca Schiavone are the winners.
